Success shouldn’t feel this heavy: Build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
Private 1–3 day therapy intensives for first-generation professionals ready to trade chronic survival mode for deep, lasting peace.
You’ve done the work to take care of everyone else—now it’s time to do the work that finally brings you home to yourself.
You’re not failing; you’re just exhausted from carrying a version of success that wasn't built for your peace.
On the outside, you’ve done everything “right.” You built the career, supported the family, and became the person everyone else depends on. You became the “success story”—the one who made it, the one everyone depends on, the one who always has the answer.
But inside, you feel chronically tense and quietly resentful of always being the "strong one." You equate rest with regression and boundaries with betrayal. Your nervous system is calibrated for survival, not safety—leaving you feeling like a 13-year-old who accidentally became the provider for everyone else.
What you’ve called "high-functioning" is actually a survival strategy. You aren't broken; you are a first-generation overachiever whose identity was built on obligation and emotional self-erasure. It’s time to build a life that actually feels like yours.
Does it sound familiar?
The "Success Trap"
You did everything right—the degree, the business, the marriage—yet you feel "emotionally homeless" and wonder, If this is success, why does it feel like suffocation?
The Loyalty Tax
You can’t separate love from obligation. To your nervous system, saying "no" feels like abandonment and resting feels like a dangerous act of selfishness.
The Perpetual Performer
You are trapped in the "successful child" archetype—still unconsciously performing for parents or managing everyone’s emotions while your own needs stay buried.
Reach Out
A Focused Approach. A Deep Shift. A Transformation Tailored to You
You don’t have months to sit on a couch just "talking" about the surface stuff. You need someone who understands first-gen guilt—not someone who just tells you to "set a boundary." You need to feel different in your body, not just understand your trauma intellectually.
Intensives offer a "before-and-after" moment. You will walk in exhausted and walk out feeling like yourself again—clearer, more grounded, and finally able to experience success without the constant pressure to prove your worth.
Experience a season’s worth of healing in a single day. We dive deeper, faster, bypassing the 'start-stop' nature of weekly therapy.
Break the cycle of survival mode by teaching your nervous system what real internal safety feels like.
Reclaim the mental energy you waste on people-pleasing and redirect it toward your own joy.
Cultivate an unshakeable self-trust so you can make choices based on who you are, not who you're expected to be.
Establish firm boundaries with family that protect your peace without the weight of "betrayal."
Decouple your worth from your productivity so you can finally breathe.
The Heart of Your Transformation
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you’re used to carrying the world on your shoulders, you need a process that is structured, deep, and honors the complexity of your story.
STEP 1
Pre-Intensive
We begin with a 90-minute intake to map out your history and identify the "root" patterns like first-gen guilt or achievement-based worth. By clarifying your specific goals ahead of time, we ensure we hit the ground running the moment your intensive begins.
STEP 2
Intensive
Instead of spreading the work across months, we create 1–3 days of dedicated space to move past "just talking" and into actual felt change. Using inner child work and expressive arts, we’ll stay with the work long enough to release long-held emotional patterns and reconnect you to your natural confidence.
STEP 3
Integration
Because transformation needs a soft place to land, we include a follow-up session to help you bring your new boundaries and sense of self back into your real-world relationships. You’ll leave with a personalized plan of action and practical resources to help you stay grounded and sustain the changes you’ve made.
Hi, I’m Lizbeth.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps first-generation high achievers heal the hidden exhaustion behind their success so they can finally live for themselves.
I believe that what we often call “burnout” is actually the weight of an identity built on survival, obligation, and emotional self-erasure. My personal journey as a first-generation immigrant and bridge-builder between worlds gives me a deep respect for the invisible burden that cycle-breakers carry. I show up as both a compassionate witness and a gentle pattern-breaker, helping you rewrite old narratives while building the skills to create a healthier relationship with yourself and those you love.
I bring a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence to our sessions, ensuring you feel deeply seen and understood before we ever move toward problem-solving. My strength lies in blending emotional validation with practical tools—specifically inner child exploration and expressive arts therapy. Together, we gently uncover the deeper beliefs that shaped how you relate to achievement and responsibility, moving you out of "survival mode" and into a life of intentional choice and authentic peace.
If you’re ready for deep, focused work that honors your journey, I’d love to connect. You're welcome to schedule a consultation to see if an intensive is the right next step for you.

BUT YOU MAY STILL HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT INTENSIVES…
What if I’m nervous about doing so much work at once?
That’s completely normal. Intensives are paced specifically for your nervous system. We take plenty of integration breaks, and we only go as deep as you feel safe going.
I feel guilty spending this much time/money on myself. Is that okay?
For a first-gen achiever, "self-care" often feels like "selfishness." We actually address this guilt during the work—it's part of the healing.
"If I start setting boundaries, will my family suffer? I’m afraid of being selfish or losing my connection to my roots."
"This is a common and incredibly valid fear for "cycle-breakers." When you’ve always been the "strong one," it’s natural to feel like your growth might hurt the people you love. However, choosing yourself is not the same as abandoning your family.
